Since its foundation, Cap Langues has remained faithful to its philosophy of innovation, focusing on the current and future needs of the market, thus distinguishing itself from its competitors. In response to the current trends in profiling within the field of human resources and training, Cap Langues has embarked on a pedagogical research project aimed at merging the benefits of DISC profiling with language teaching.

What is our project?

Our new teaching methodology, Applied DISC Language Learning, aims to optimise the learning experience of learners. This methodology, resulting from 18 months of research and development, is unique in Europe and the culmination of a lengthy and intense period of training and collaboration with various partners, including the renowned International House in Budapest.

What are its strengths?

We've observed that incorporating DISC into language learning optimises communication between the instructor and the learner. Indeed, the trainer tailors the linguistic content to the learner's preferred mode of communication, significantly enhancing their receptivity and the embedding of knowledge.

Moreover, our methodology enables us to identify the motivational factors influencing each learner's mode of learning and uses crucial information about their learning style to determine:

• The most suitable pedagogical techniques for delivering the courses;

• The best way to personalise the teaching material.

Thus, while so-called "tailor-made" courses are mainly built on the linguistic weaknesses of the learner, DISC Applied Language Learning goes further by examining the individual learning style of the learner to enhance their overall learning experience. Our method also considers the impact that various teaching aids or educational resources have on learners with different profiles, enabling the implementation of the most suitable solution.
